Unlike other tools, Agilefant is both simple and powerful. It can be quickly adopted by a single team for project and iteration management. But Agilefant is also capable of bringing together long-term product and release planning, portfolio management and daily work of the entire organization. Using Agilefant contributes to having a happier and more focused organization because it helps the value workers take control their own workload. And best of all, Agilefant is free (open source, MIT-license).

By 2010 Agilefant has been widely adopted in the software industry. This is providing us with valuable feedback for both research, tool development and process improvement purposes. An active community is contributing to Agilefant's development.
