Are there ways to hurry the implementation of the features we want?
Yes, there are actually many ways to help this; the most significant ones are listed first:
- By partnering with the *ATMAN research project*at the Helsinki University of Technology. Besides a heavy vote in what should be implemented in Agilefant and as much user support as you need, your company reaps other significant benefits as well. We can come and tell you more if you can muster an audience qualified to make the decision on whether to join us. From one to one-and-a-half hours should be reserved for the meeting.
- By implementing it yourself, hopefully doing the design in co-operation with us and checking the end result back into the repository. This is also a sure way to get your & your company's name high up in among the Contributors to Agilefant.
- By offering to pair program the feature with our developers
- By using Agilefant. The vote cast by a real user organization naturally weighs more than that of someone evaluating the tool or checking out the demo
- By argumenting the need of the feature, preferably in a user-story-like manner (i.e. we want to get to the real needs behind the want to change the colour "this and that button to pink") and participating in the specification
