On Nov 9th, the Software Process Research Group (SPRG) of Aalto University's Software Business and Engineering Institute (SoberIT) arranges a seminar on Agile Product and Portfolio Management.
Based on decade-long collaboration with top Finnish software companies both large and small, this seminar answers questions such as how traditional product management duties such as roadmapping and release planning can be made agile-compatible, how the developers' efforts can be managed as an explicit portfolio, and how agile release planning works in practice when there are multiple teams working on a single solution. The seminar also features Agilefant (www.agilefant.org), the leading open source software tool for project and backlog management.
Arranged by the Tekes-and-Industry funded ATMAN research project (www.agilefant.org/atmanblog) the seminar will be held 9.11. 9-12am at Innopoli 2.
