What is the Agilefant?

Agilefant is the simplest solution that might work for managing agile software development activities. It brings together the perspectives of long-term planning, project portfolio management, and daily work. It works for a single team working with its product and iteration backlogs. It is also capable for managing large-scale multi-team development. Agilefant is the leading open source tool today.

For more detailed description see the Features section.

Its development is coordinated by the Software Process Research Group at SoberIT, Aalto University

Agilefant 2.0.2 brings two new major features. First, it's now possible to make personal and global portfolios. Portfolios are collections of different iterations, projects, stories and users, that one wishes to follow at the same time. Second, Agilefant 2.0.2 contains a product leaf stories view. In that view leaf stories can be moved between backlogs with a simple drag and drop interface.
